Quick answers about Kanso, privacy, AI, pricing, and the waitlist.
What is Kanso?
Kanso is Enso Labs' mobile app for nutrition tracking, protein planning around the target you set, and lightweight fitness management. It combines verified nutritional data with AI-driven insights so you can spot macro gaps and apply corrective actions without turning tracking into a second job.
Who is Kanso for?
Adults 18 and older who want precise, science-backed nutrition tracking without the dark patterns of most commercial trackers. Kanso is especially useful if you care about protein distribution, want evidence-led insight over gamified streaks, and value privacy.
How does Kanso confirm I am 18 or older?
The app collects a whole-number age (not a full date of birth) on your profile. When you save your profile, that age must be 18 or older or the save is rejected—both in the app and on the server. It is a self-declared eligibility check, not government ID verification.
When does Kanso launch?
Kanso is in active development. We have not announced a public launch date yet. Join the waitlist to receive first notice and early-access pricing.
How much does Kanso cost?
Pricing is being finalized ahead of launch. The plan is to keep core nutrition logging and basic protein targeting free, with advanced AI insights and deeper analytics on a paid tier. Waitlist members get early-access pricing. See the Pricing page for current philosophy.
Is Kanso available on iOS and Android?
Both platforms are on the roadmap. There is no public web version of Kanso — the marketing site (ensolabs.cc) is separate from the app itself.
How does Kanso handle my personal data?
We collect only what is needed to run the product, we do not sell or share your data for cross-context advertising, and we do not use your personal data to train foundation AI models. Full details are in our Privacy Policy, which also covers GDPR, UK-GDPR, and CCPA/CPRA rights.
Does Kanso use AI? How?
Yes. Kanso uses AI to translate your logged nutrition and biometric data into practical, context-aware guidance. Inputs may be processed by trusted model providers (listed in our sub-processors page) under agreements that prohibit training their foundation models on your data. You can read the full AI disclosure in the legal framework.
Can I export or delete my data?
Yes. You can export your data in a portable format and request full deletion at any time from within the app or by emailing support@ensolabs.cc. Deletion removes your account and associated personal data from live systems; residual backups are purged on a documented schedule.
Does Kanso take photos of my food?
No. Kanso does not store photographs of food or beverages. Logging is text- and search-based against verified nutritional databases; we do not run image recognition against uploaded photos.
Is my health data covered by HIPAA?
No. Kanso is a consumer product and is not a HIPAA-covered entity. We still treat health-related data with care under our privacy policy and applicable consumer health privacy laws (including the Washington My Health My Data Act where it applies).
Where is my data stored?
Primary storage is on infrastructure in the United States. Some processing may occur in the EU or UK depending on the sub-processor. International transfers are covered by Standard Contractual Clauses (GDPR) and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum where applicable.
